Good practices in urban areas
UNHCR’s Urban Refugee Steering Group is very happy to announce the launch of a new website, Good Practices for Urban Refugees.
This interactive website aims to support practitioners in sharing and using good practices in the response to refugee needs in urban areas. In addition to good practice case studies, it includes tools, guidelines, research, media, surveys, urban strategies and other information relevant for urban programming.

Call for Papers:
Cinema and Migration at the 45th Annual Convention Northeast Modern Language Association (NeMLA)
This panel aims to explore cinema across borders and in comparative perspective. In an age of global modernity, viewing the migrant experience from the perspective of a single national culture is restrictive. Submissions that engage with themes of exile, displacement, immigrants, emigrants, flows of migration, or people who do not fit within legitimate borders and boundaries are welcome. All theoretical, methodological, and cultural approaches to the ‘border’ experience are welcome. 150-300 word abstract to firstname.lastname@example.org by September 30
